Dry coconut, grated <br />Coriander leaves <br />Water <br /> <br />For the Chicken:- <br />Oil <br />½ Star Anise <br />2-3 Cloves <br />4-5 Black peppercorns <br />½ inch Cinnamon stick <br />3 onions, finely chopped <br />2 tbsp. Aagri Masala <br />½ kg. Chicken <br /> <br />For Aagri Masala:- <br />100 gms. Shankeshwari Chillies <br />50 gms. Bedgi Chillies <br />3 tsp. Coriander seeds <br />1½ tsp. Stone Flower <br />2 Black Cardamoms <br />3 Green Cardamoms <br />2 Bay leaves <br />2-3 inch Cinnamon <br />8-10 Black peppercorns <br />1 Star Anise <br />1 Mace <br />2 tsp. Cumin seeds <br />½ tsp. Fennel seeds <br />¼ tsp. Asafoetida rock <br />Roast and grind in a mixer/grinder to a fine paste. <br /> <br />Method:- <br />- Grind the masala paste ingredients to a coarse paste. <br />- Heat oil in a pan and add star anise, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon, onions, aagri masala and saute until the onions turn soft. <br />- Apply the masala paste thoroughly to the chicken and add salt and aagri masala and mix well. <br />- Add the mixture to the sauteed onions followed by water and stir. <br />- Cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes on high flame. <br />- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve. <br /> <br />Aagri Chicken is ready to eat! <br />HAPPY COOKING!
